Three times now Senator Obama has threatened to yank the FCC license of radio stations for airing ads or hosting guests that did not portray the Senator in a favorable light.
It should be apparent by now the self declared party of "free speech" doesn't really mean it.
This is reminiscent of how feminists have behaved for the last 2 decades. While proclaiming they wish to push forward women's rights, they are really an ideological wing of the Democratic party. We can see this with how they have treated Sarah Palin. When NOW and other feminist groups tell us they want to enhance women's rights and power and voice in government, what they really mean is they want this for Democratic women. If one is a Republican or conservative, women will be called "whore" or threatened with gang rape -- both the threat and name calling came from a comedy "artist" named Sarah Bernhard.
It is one thing to disagree with Palin on policy issues, but they've made it personal and they have used their malignant and unstable followers from the Daily Kos in order to push the most venal lies I've ever seen published and then, shockingly, reiterated by the mainstream media and specifically and frequently, Andrea Mitchell.
CNN anchors have often wondered how a woman with 5 children could work outside the home in any capacity, let alone as Governor or Vice President. Although Obama is referred to as a Senator, the media can barely bring itself to utter the words Governor when referring to Palin.
They have pondered how a person from a state with such a small population could possibly be ready to serve as Vice President.
These same geniuses treated the following men as viable PRESIDENTIAL candidates but never wondered how they could possibly be prepared given their state's small population.
Joe Biden - Senator, Delaware - population 853,476 (2006)
Howard Dean - Governor, Vermont - population 623,908 (2006)
Sarah Palin - Governor, Alaska - population 670,053 (2006)
I have a personal story to share here about ABC News.
ReplyDeleteA friend e-mailed me a Jack Tapper, ABC News article about Sarah Palin. Beneath the article there were reader comments and I could see that the Daily Kos kooks had taken over and were pushing their malignant agenda and lies about her.
This so infuriated me that I started responding, factually and with research. My last post on Jack Tapper's blog was that Sarah Palin had not decreased spending for special needs children in Alaska but has instead increased spending from it's current $26,000/child/year to $76,000/child/year by year 2011. I included a non-live link (since the web site didn't permit live links) directly from the online Alaskan state budget.
That was the last link Jack Tapper's blog permitted me to post. I was banned. Curious, I check other ABC reporter blogs and I could not post on those either. Apparently ABC has sophisticated software and is able to detect the poster using an IP address.
This would not be a particularly noteworthy story except that I do think it points to the agenda of ABC News that they would ban a poster who posted facts all while permitting what were clearly DailyKos posters to publish posts calling Palin names that most of us have never heard used in our daily lives.
A comment from "Left Bank" was removed because it was not on point.
ReplyDelete"A comment from Left Bank was removed..." not because it was off point but because it dared disagree with AJ bloggers, dared speak truth to those who would wield uninformed power over us. An ironic response to a posting in the thread "Free Speech for Me but Not for Thee."
ReplyDeleteAnd so the Ouroborian circle is complete. The serpent eats itself.
When the libs can't debate on points, they go off on tangent.
ReplyDeleteWhen libs can't debate the merits of a post, they attempt to distract by changing the topic.
ReplyDeleteLibin Large - oh, so you're sure the post was removed because it wasn't on point, eh?
ReplyDeleteThose must be some intuitive powers you have there, my friend.
Maybe on articles about turtles we should post comments about nuclear power. That would make interesting reading for viewers of the Journal wouldn't it?
