Aiken Choral Society Concert September 27th


AIKEN CHORAL SOCIETY AUTUMN CONCERT



           SIMPSON, HASLAM and LOSEY

The Aiken Choral Society will present Maureen Simpson, soprano, and Diane Haslam, mezzo-soprano in:



A Concert of Favorite Opera Arias and Duets, on September 27th, 2008, at 7:30 p.m., in the Aiken County Historical Museum.  Mary Losey will accompany on the piano.  The event will also feature a reception and silent auction.

Tickets will be available at the Aiken County Historical Museum and at the door:  $35/individual; $50/couple. 


In addition to the concert, there will be a post-concert reception of wine and light hors d'oeuvres.  Items in the silent auction include a 14 carat two-tone amethyst and diamond pendant necklace, donated by Floyd & Green; a tea party for ten preteen young ladies, offered by Sissy Brodie; a 6-month membership provided by Just Breathe Studio (www.justbreathestudio.com); a 3-night stay at a Wyndham condo at Edisto beach, courtesy of Just Breathe Studio; a basket of goodies from Bone-a-Fide Bakery; an elegant formally appointed dinner for eight, with nine courses and four imported wines; and many more wonderful items.   For more information call  642-2015.
