This blog was created by a pragmatic idealist who proudly served his country as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer in many nations including Sri Lanka, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Guyana, Egypt, Pakistan and India during a 34 year career. I had the privilege of living among and working with individuals of many different races and creeds. The most important thing I learned is people of the world have more in common than not. Universally they want for themselves and their families the opportunity to lead happy and healthy lives and to prosper. We must all work together to make that happen.
