It's obvious that one of the worst things a person can do to Obama is make fun of him. He has no sense of humor and took the media to task when they made fun of his big ears. He's extremely thin-skinned and goes after anyone in the media who dares to criticize him.
He even kicked off some reporters from his campaign bus when they wrote uncomplimentary articles about him.
But he'd better get used to being the butt of jokes because Obamamania is over. It was over a few weeks ago and when even the NYT editorial staff (last Sunday) took him to the woodshed for being incompetent and clueless, then we're a good few weeks past being done.
Reparations are on the table. The democrats in the House of Representatives are calling for the creation of a partisan commission. It allocates 8 million dollars for a one-year study of slavery and discrimination in the United States, which would serve as the underpinning of legislation calling for reparations.
Republicans are not permitted to name any commissioners. Effectively the makeup of the body will be determined by Obama, Pelosi, and Biden.
One odd feature: The commission is supposed to have subpoena power. Just why do you think it needs that?
